Bedding and appointments throughout the house are tasteful and appealing. Two gathering areas inside gives kids a place to hang and adults their own space to relax. But all that is nothing compared to the ocean breezes and views you will be enjoying from the decks, poolside, or on the beach. Be sure to bring a basketball along if your group wants to utilize the two basketball hoops on either end of driveway for a full court basketball game. Everyone needs a new “Pointe of View”! Nicely located and not too far from the market, ice cream, and restaurants.

Additional amenity details:
Private Pools are open from May 3, 2024 until October 12, 2024, and May 2, 2025 until October 11, 2025. Pool heat is not an option for this property. Hot tubs are available year-round.

All Sandbridge Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Great House!

This was our family’s 36th year visiting Sandbridge and, needless to say, we have rented many houses over the years. Our wish list as to what we are looking for in a beach rental is long, but I’m happy to say that Pointe O’ View checked all of the boxes and then some! The house layout is great, with large spacious bedrooms as well as multiple common areas for gathering. The kitchen is probably the most well stocked that we have ever encountered, with clean well maintained appliances and a large functional island. The beds are exceptionally comfortable with plenty of closet and drawer space in each bedroom. Furniture both inside and outside is in great condition and comfortable. The beach access is perfect and easy and the pool and hot tub are an added plus. Our family always enjoys a good outdoor shower and this one did not disappoint. The driveway is large with lots of parking, as well as two basketball hoops. You can tell that a lot of thought went into what people may want/need in a rental home, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended!

Pointe O'View

I'll start by saying Sandbridge, VA was not in our plans. We were heading from PA to Rodanthe, NC in the Outer Banks for our vacation when Hurricane Dorian hit. The status of our house and town was unknown due to the evacuation so we were seeking last minute accommodations. We called Sandbridge Blue in the morning but due to the hurricane the status of rental properties was unknown. The person who helped us was very kind and understanding and offered to call us back once they knew if their properties were able to be rented. We decided to continue on out drive while searching for a house on the way. Shortly into our trip we received a call from Sandbridge Blue letting us know they can begin assisting us. I had Pointe O'View selected as a top choice due to location, having a pool and the size. The rental agent was extremely helpful and in a matter of 2 hours, the property was confirmed available, that there was not storm damage and the rental agreement signed electronically. Upon arrival, we noticed there was a large amount of sand in the pool and around the deck due to the storm, I thought, I'll call Monday and let them know. We were not even unpacked when a crew showed up to clean it out; they were professional and friendly after working all day cleaning up damage. The house is in a perfect spot!!!! Directly on the beach, 3 level deck, pool, hot tub and plenty of space! Several days we enjoyed coffee on the deck while watching the dolphins. The kitchen is beautiful with everything and anything you could possibly need! The upstairs kitchenette is a huge plus and very convenient for enjoying the upstairs den and deck. All bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, even the rooms with a king and twin bed have more than enough space. The bathrooms have plenty of room and are modern, actually seem to be brand new. The living area offers plenty of space as well. We are going to have a very hard time finding a rental in the future that lives up to our last minute emergency house. I later learned that due to our last minute rental, the owner donated our rent to the World Vision Organization for disaster relief in the Bahamas, a very generous act of kindness. If you have any doubts about renting this house, you can dismiss them! Pointe O’View is perfect and I would highly recommend the home and working with Sandbridge Blue!
